The Lancashire Heeler is an English cattle-drover's dog from the Lancashire and Ormskirk regions, descended from Welsh Corgi × Manchester Terrier crosses. Nearly extinct by the 1960s before breed-club restoration; AKC recognition dates to 2024 — one of the newest AKC breeds.
